With an array of personal trainers out there what sets me apart from the rest?

Well let me start with the basics about myself. I am an experienced, certified personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise, National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association, and National Council of Strength and Fitness (all NCCA accredited training certifications) in the Pasadena, CA area. Also, I am CPR and AED certified.

I think of myself more as a fitness enthusiast rather than a personal trainer. Pretty much I eat, sleep, and breathe fitness. I believe in continuously keeping up to date with the latest trends and scientific findings about fitness so that I can better assist my clients in achieving their goals.

I’m not your typical trainer that will sit you on a machine and tell you to do 10 reps. Instead, I believe in functional training and educating my clients so that they understand what and why they are doing each exercise as well as how to prevent injuries. Proper form is always key and I don’t believe in ever sacrificing form for reps or weights. I genuinely care about the people I work with and believe in treating them like friends. I am always a phone call or text away and, believe me when I say, expect to hear from me outside of our training sessions. Checking in from time to time is very important in helping you attain your goals.

Outside of the gym, I try to lead by example by living an active lifestyle. Living in the Pasadena area allows me to partake in many enjoyable activities. One of my hobbies is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Gracie Barra Pasadena) and competing. I’ve competed in numerous competitions and have medaled in most. I enjoy being active and am always learning how to better myself, both physically and mentally.

We all have our own personal goals. Whether yours is to lose weight, better your health, get fit, or simply achieve that stubborn six-pack I can help you get there. My dream is to be able to share my passion for fitness with others out there and be able to make a difference in people’s lives. Honestly, when my clients come to me and tell me things like they haven’t weighed this much since they were a kid or when another tells me they no longer need to take their medication that they have been relying on for the past 10+ years it reminds me that I really am making a difference in people’s lives.
